Catherine Ducote'

Catherine Hollis DuCote’, a native of Cottonport, La. and a resident of Baton Rouge, La., passed away on October 7, 2018, at the age of 90.

Catherine was a member of St. Gerald’s Catholic Church for 38 years, and a member of St. Isidore’s Catholic Church for over 30 years. She was a devout Catholic, dedicated wife and mother, and she adored her parents and siblings.

Catherine is survived by her children, Susan DuCote’ Davis and husband Gary, Dwayne DuCote’ and wife Cheryl, Brian DuCote’ and wife Kay, Lola DuCote’, Lauren DuCote’, and Leslie DuCote’ St. Angelo and husband Franky; her 8 grandchildren; and her 7 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray DuCote’; her parents, George and Lola Hollis; her siblings, Maxie Hollis, Herman Hollis, Laura Sparks, and Jerry Hollis.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA., on October 11, 2018 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will resume at Resthaven Funeral Home on October 12, 2018, from 8:00 am until 10:00 am. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Isidore Church, 5657 Thomas Rd, Baton Rouge, LA at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy DuCote’, Colt DuCote’, Hunter DuCote’, Landon St. Angelo, Shayne Hall, and Ryan Bruno. Honorary pallbearer will be Matthew Rushing.
