Carson Root

Carson Root, a resident of Baton Rouge went into the arms of the Lord on November 20,2017. 9 years ago Carson was involved in a debilitating auto accident in which he was a passenger. He proved to be a true fighter! Our hearts are broken that his young life was taken from the earth but we Praise God that he is now free of pain and suffering and have peace in knowing that he is with Our Lord. Carson attended Parkview Baptist, Redemptorist and The Dunham School. He is survived by his older brother Cullen Root, mother Jill Root, Grandfather William Martinez and his aunt Amanda Harris. He is proceeded in death by his father Jay Root, grandmother Jeanette Martinez, grandmother Frances Harris, grandfather Joe Harris and his uncle A.G. Root. Wake will be Sunday November 26, 2017 at Resthaven from 10:30 until the service beginning at 2:00. There is a graveside service at Serenity Oaks, 15304 Hwy 73, Prairieville beginning at 3:30. The family would like to thank the numerous caregivers that allowed Carson to be with us this long. The love and time that has been given to Carson is sincerely appreciated. Love, Mom
