Carolyn Stewart

Carolyn Borne Stewart, 76, passed away Tuesday, March 18, 2014. She was a founding member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Carolyn was involved in many church activities including MBS Altar Society and the Magnolia Garden Club. She was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Carolyn was a graduate of St. Joseph Academy and LSU. She was a homemaker, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. Carolyn is survived by her husband of 53 years, Donald R. Stewart sisters, Yvonne Borne Thompson and Estelle Borne Holliday daughters, Donna Stewart Melancon, Rebecca Stewart Arceneaux soninlaw, Bryan Arceneaux grandchildren, Sheila Morris and husband James, Christine Melancon, Dale Melancon, and Lauren Arceneaux greatgrandchildren, Hailey Morris and Seamus Morris and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Pearl Dicharry Borne father, Louis Francis Borne and brothers, Louis Borne, Jr., Ronald Borne, and Robert Borne. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 5 pm until 7 pm. Visiting will resume at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, 15615 Jefferson Highway Baton Rouge, LA 70817 on Friday, March 21, 2014 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am officiated by Rev.
