Carolyn Richard

Carolyn Richard passed away on June 15, 2017. She was 91 years old. She was a native of Donaldsonville and a resident of Baton Rouge for most of her life. She is survived by four children and their spouses, Constance R. Crasto, Renee' R. Stolzenthaler and her husband Stan; Percy S. "Rick" Richard, III and fiancé, Rhonda Meyers; and John Randall "Randy" Richard and his wife Debbie. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, Stanford C. Stolzenthaler, IV and his wife Anna (Destinee, Anna, and John-Stanford); Christopher S. Crasto and his wife Jessica (Anna and Adele); Jennifer C. George and her husband Jeff (Gibson and Grace); Kyle R. Stolzenthaler and his wife Caitlin (Crawford and Jane Clare); Drs. Paul Richard and his wife Viktoria (Atticus, Paxton and Vivienne); Kevin M. Crasto (Gabrielle and Kevin Michael); Dr. Mark S. Richard and his wife Katie; and Michelle R. Simons and her husband Stephen (Noah). She is predeceased by her husband, Percy S. Richard, Jr.; her parents John S. Landry, Sr. and Adele Noel Landry; her brother, John Stanley Landry, Jr.; and her son-in-law, T. Lloyd Crasto, Jr. Private services for immediate family were held at St. George Catholic Church on Friday, June 16, 2017, with interment at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff and caregivers at Sunrise on Siegen Lane, especially, Annie, for their care of our mother over the last eight years. We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to The Hospice of Baton Rouge for their compassionate care of our mother and our family during the last months of Mom's life.
