Carolyn Garon

Carolyn Hohensee Garon, age 77, resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, January 16, 2016.

Carolyn enjoyed traveling with her husband. She also loved to spend time with her children and grandchildren.

Carolyn is survived by her husband of 56 years, Jim Garon; three daughters, Denise Garon Giosa and husband Tom, Carol Garon Durkee and husband Todd, and Margaret Garon Willis and husband Coosh; one son, Mark Garon and wife Katherine Trinidad; twelve grandchildren, Logan Willis, Sloan Willis, Ross Durkee, Gabrielle Giosa, Cole Durkee, Dominique Giosa, Madison Durkee, Sydney Willis, Gavin Giosa, Scott Durkee, Max Garon, and Jaxon Garon; three sisters, Emma Delaune, Arlene Lambert, and Margie Campbell; and one brother, Jimmy Paul Hohensee

She is preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Allie Hohensee; sisters, Janice and Allie Marie; and brothers, Herman and John.

In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.

Visiting hours will be observed on Tuesday, January 19, 2016, at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm with a recitation of the rosary at 7 pm.

Visiting hours will resume on Wednesday, January 20, 2016, at Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, from 11:00 am until Mass at 12:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
