Carolyn Dockery-Head

Carolyn Jonice Dockery-Head, 56, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on November 27,2021.

Carolyn earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Southern University. She enjoyed working in the insurance industry for over 20 years.  Carolyn was a member of Living Faith Christian Center, under the leadership of Bishop Raymond Johnson.  She was a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated and a Lifetime member of the Southern University 6th Man Club.

Carolyn is survived by her only son, William Head (Teddlie Phillips III); husband, Ronald Head; sister, Demetrice (DD) Dockery; Fur-Babies Sammee & Rocky Head.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Lockhart; Father, Larry Dockery; Grandmother, Ruby Dockery; Aunt, Louise Dockery and Grandfather, Elder Henry Dockery.

Visiting hours will take place at Living Faith Christian Center on December 8, 2021 from 9am to 10am and 10:30am to 11am until services at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory & Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
