Carolyn Chaisson

Carolyn Beal Chaisson, age 77, passed away on October 5, 2015 at her residence.

She enjoyed painting, helping nurse injured animals, jewelry making, and scrapbooking. She was a retired registered nurse. Carolyn was a member of Parkview Baptist Church and a member of Sweet Adelines. Carolyn was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She took joy in hearing about her children's lives and was her children's "Room mother" while they were in school. Carolyn was truly the loving center of her family.
Carolyn is survived by her husband of 54 years, Garron Chaisson; her children, Jodi Miller and husband, Frank Miller, Robin Chaisson Wilson and husband, Frank Wilson, Chip Chaisson and wife, Becky Chaisson; her grandchildren, Madison Leigh Wilson, Cody Garron Chaisson, Marc Etienne Caron, Kristen Cook, and husband, Jacob Cook; and her great-grandchild, Hadley Cook.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Elsie Beal.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visiting hours will resume Friday, October 9, 2015 from 1:00 PM until the time of services.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, October 9, 2015 at 3:00 PM.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
