Jeanie, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away early Thursday morning, July 21, 2011. She was 69, born in Superior, Wis., to William and Wilma Johnson on Jan. 26, 1942. Jeanie attended the University of Wisconsin at Superior, where she met and married her husband, Daryl. They moved to St. Louis and resided there for 41 years. After her husband retired from the National GeospatialIntelligence Agency in 2005, they moved to Baton Rouge. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Daryl a son, Rick and wife Joan, of Cameron Park, Calif. a daughter, Kristin Grant and husband Allen, of Springfield, Pa. two brothers, Dale and James a sister, Gloria and two grandchildren, Hunter and Sophia. Arrangements, including cremation at the funeral home, and a visitation at University United Methodist Church, 3350 Dalrymple Drive, on Saturday, July 30, 2011 from 12pm until a memorial service at 1pm.
