Carol Hebert

October 12, 1948 — July 19, 2021

Carol Ann Hoffpauir Hebert, 72, resident of Alexandria, passed away on July 19th, 2021, with her daughters by her side.

Carol graduated from Woodlawn High School in Baton Rouge, LA, where she was lead majorette and cheerleader.  She was a lifelong student of Jeffie Jean Dance Studio.  She attended Louisiana State University, where she was a Tigerette in the LSU Tiger Marching Band.  She then dedicated her time to raising her children and remodeling homes, which brought her so much joy.  She worked for many years as a legal professional in Florida and Baton Rouge.  She was a consummate lover of the outdoors and spent much of her time at her cabin in Toledo Bend fishing and enjoying nature.  She recently enjoyed a dream trip to Italy with a group of lifelong friends.  She cherished her close and loving relationship with her granddaughter, Lola.

Carol is survived by her two daughters, Lori DeBlieux and husband MAJ. Richard DeBlieux and Elizabeth Hebert; granddaughter, Lola DeBlieux; brother, Corey Hoffpauir (Patty); nephew, Chase Hoffpauir and his family; and niece, Juliana Hoffpauir.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Leola Hoffpauir of Baton Rouge, LA.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, July 22, 2021, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA from 11:00 am until funeral service at 12:00 pm.

The family of Carol wishes to extend sincere gratitude to Allison Young of Compassionate Care Hospice and to Danielle Brooks.
