Carlene Kinchen

Carlene Thames Kinchen, age 91, went to her permanent home on March 08, 2017.

She was married to Murphy Kinchen for 53 years. She was very active in her church and sang in the choir. A Godly lady who instilled her faith in her children.

She is survived by her four children, Carla and her husband Mike Kilpatrick, Myra and her husband Mike Morgan, Nelwyn and her husband Paul Rossi, and Douglas Kinchen; one brother, Samuel Thames; six grandchildren, Erica Mote, Jeremy Kilpatrick, Justin Kinchen, Ashley Roberts, Ricky Lanier, Meagan Hood, Carley Rossi, Rachael Sevario and Renni Diez; and thirteen great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Sunday, March 12, 2017 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Monday, March 13, 2017 from 11:00am until funeral service at 1:00pm. Burial will immediately follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Pallbearers will be Justin Kinchen, Cabot Armand, Bobby Kinchen, Chris Kinchen, Curry Kinchen, Dylan Roberts, Marshall Martrain, and Butch Roberts. Honorary pallbearers are John Thames, Chris Morgan and Ryder Mote.
