Carl Robichaux

Carl Joseph Robichaux,
age 66, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2014 at the Carpenter House. He was born December 23, 1947 in Houma, LA to the late Lloyd Robichaux, Sr. and Myrle Landry Robichaux. Carl was a member of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where he was a lector and Eucharistic Minister, member of Knights of Columbus, and member of Professional Engineering Society. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps, held a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and enjoyed fishing, golfing, crossword puzzles, and LSU football and baseball.

Survivors include: wife, Arlene Ramirez Robichaux daughter, Mary Robichaux House son, Matthew Robichaux sisters, Marlene Robichaux Colter and Margaret Robichaux Rome brothers, Ernest Robichaux and Lloyd Robichaux, Jr. grandson, Myles Robichaux. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family would like to thank Dr. Castine and Elton, along with all of the staff at Baton Rouge General Blue Bonnett, The Carpenter House, The Knights of Columbus, parishioners and staff of Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, coworkers, family and friends for the outpouring of love, prayers and continued support.

Visiting hours will be observed Tuesday, September 9, 2014 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Visiting hours will resume Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 10:30am until 12:00pm at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 15615 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70817. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 12:00pm at Most Blessed Sacrament Church conducted by Father Phil Spano. Interment and graveside service with Military Honors will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816.
