Carl F. Morrow, age 95, a native of Zenora, LA and resident of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on September 6, 2018.
Carl was a former Deacon and member of First Baptist Church in Leesville, LA and present member of Healing Place Church. He was a great storyteller, captivating any audience that would listen about his early childhood, romance and marriage to the love of his life, and his World War II experiences. He loved all people and cherished his family above all else. He retired from U.S. Civil Service at Fort Polk, LA as an Inspector for Engineers Division and an accomplished carpenter and cabinet maker!
He is survived by his wife, Loyce Mae Martin Morrow; his children, Carl G. Morrow and wife Brenda, Ron L. Morrow and wife Barbara, and Perry F. Morrow and wife Ann; nine grandchildren, Chad, Brad, Joy, T.J., Haleigh, Mollie, Matthew, Emily, and Becca; 28 great-grandchildren; his sister, Barbara Morrow Stringer; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Carl is preceded in death by his parents, Emmit H. Morrow and Mattie F. Morrow; brothers, Evie H. Morrow, J.B. Morrow, Charlie E. Morrow, and Dee E. "Sonny" Morrow; sisters, Ora Morrow Edwards and Moease Morrow Beeson; and his granddaughter, Anna Olivia Morrow.
Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy. Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, September 10, 2018 from 12:00pm until funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
