Carl Harberson

July 24, 1956 — May 25, 2015

It is hard to find a person as true as Carl, When you do it's hard to lose them. Carl "Catfish" Glenn Harberson, a native of Malvern, Arkansas, and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully at his home on May 25, 2015 after a Hard fought battle until the very end with Colorectal Cancer. There is joy to be found in every single day- ALL is Good.

A 1974 graduate of Malvern High School and Arkansas Tech, Carl moved to Baton Rouge in 1981 and began a career that lasted thru his illness in Home Building Sales. He worked for Acoustical Specialties and Supply for 21 years and McConnell Brick & Block for 4 years. Carl took pride in what he did and taking care of his customers his way and the family he worked with as well. He loved his Football especially LSU Football and University of Arkansas Football and his High School and College teams that he played for, Kappa Alpha Order -Epsilon Zeta Chapter bothers, and let's not forget Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune! Carl was an amazing friend that took the time to keep in touch with so very many and that smile and personality got him in almost as much trouble as it got him respect and love by all. He loved being surrounded by all his "Buds" right to the end. Let us all meet each other with a smile for the smile is the beginning of love. He is greatly loved by his family and friends and will be dearly missed.

Left to treasure his memory is his Devoted and Amazing Significant other Elizabeth Latiolais; Parents Lyndale and Mary (Jenkins) Harberson of Malvern, Ark; sister Marsha Simpson (husband Jody) of Glen Rose, Ark; Sister in law Linda Scrimshire, of Malvern, Ark, Niece Jennifer Efird (husband Jeff) nephew Carl Miller (Chris and children); Sarah Ray (Donald and children), Jamie Pounders (Philip), Aimee Scrimshire (and child), Chance Linder, Jim Bo Scrimshire; Niece, Christel Landreth, (and children).
