Canyon Baugh

April 4, 1997 — September 17, 2021

Canyon Michael Baugh, while smiling his beautiful smile, landed feet first into heaven on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the age of 24. He was a native and resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Loving and Devoted Father of Jaxson B. Baugh. Boyfriend of Destinie Milano. Forever Son of Brandi B. Brewer and William C. Wilson, III. Step Son of Steven P. Brewer and Allyson L. Wilson. Beloved brother of Kameryn A. Hicks, Timothy and Brody Brewer, and also Duncan, Hudson, and Griffin Wilson. Uncle of Ashton Jones. Brother-in-law of Jaron A. Jones, and Nephew of many Aunts and Uncles. Welcoming Canyon in to heaven were, William C Wilson, Jr., Homer W. Baugh, Jr., and Janet F. Baugh.

Canyon had many accomplishments in his lifetime, but it was from the downfalls, unwanted setbacks, and higher mountains climbed that he found his "Never Give Up" strength and forever determined perseverance.

He refused to give himself any other options when it came to being better than the day before. Canyons ability to always find faith in the fallback is also what gave him his voice of wisdom to always be the person any friend, family, or stranger needed. Although some of the time, his response may or may not have been, "That's childish" while grinning with his infectious smile and wearing his favorite black hoodie. His beautifully made heart and beaming bright soul never fell short in it's role of being the amazing friend, son, and father that he was, but most importantly he never fell short in his role of being his sisters keeper. The bond, love, and protection Canyon shared with his sister Aynsleigh could never be described with definition, but will forever be felt from afar. Canyon was a lover of Dad jokes (the corniest ones), Call Of Duty and Grand Theft Auto, The Office, relatable music, and his sisters cats- Callie and Amber. He also enjoyed creating many different types of art like, wood burning, sketching, painting, and tattoos, just to name a few. Canyon was a graduate of Northeast High School, where he was known for his helping hand and for being the friend you could always depend on, no matter what. The world will always shine a little less bright without his radiating presence, but the memory of him will never fade.
