Camille Burkhalter

Camille Doyle Burkhalter, age 62, a native of Shreveport, LA and native of Prairieville, LA passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018.

Camille was a strong Christian with strong faith and was a longtime member of Jefferson Baptist Church. She was a member of the Kappa Delta Sorority, where she was quarterback for their flag football team. She loved playing flag football and watching her sons play football. She was an avid golfer earlier in life, loved her "beach ladies" and friends. She loved all LSU sports and most of all loved making everyone laugh.

She is survived by her sons, Bradley Burkhalter and wife Megan, Brenton Burkhalter and Morgan Gueho, Brody Burkhalter and Sidney Pierrotti; grandchild, Jensen Burkhalter; and siblings, Bill and Laurie Doyle and Phillip Doyle.

Camille is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Gloria Doyle.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, June 8, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Jefferson Baptist Church, 9135 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA from 1:00pm until funeral service at 2:00pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
