Bunnie Saltzman

Bunnie Lee Saltzman, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2024 at the age of 59.  She was born September 20, 1964, to parents, Robert Lubin and Barbara Dwyer Lubin in Brownfield, TX.  Bunnie was a loving mother and grandmother who treasured the times she shared with her family and friends.  She is remembered fondly for her love of bright colors and boundless creativity.   During her career as a professional cake decorator, Bunnie loved decorating beautiful cakes for her children’s birthdays and would surprise them with specially made fruit cups to brighten their days.  

Bunnie is survived by her daughter, Misty James and her husband, Spencer James; her son, Dustin Saltzman; grandchildren, Henry and Grace James; and her sisters, Terrie Lubin and Beverly Gates.  

She is preceded in death by parents.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m.  A Visitation will be held at the funeral home beginning at 1:30 p.m.
