Bruce Johnson

Bruce Donald Johnson of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on August 22, 2024, at the age of 71. Bruce was born on July 2, 1953, in Buffalo Center, Iowa, to Donald E. Johnson and Muriel Y. Johnson. Bruce was a proud alumnus of Robert E. Lee High School and graduated from Southeastern Louisiana University with a bachelor’s degree in business in 1978. He loved sports, fishing, and especially golf. Bruce worked in Golf Course Supervision for many years at several of the major golf courses in the area including the Bluffs, the Country Club of Louisiana and, most recently, the Baton Rouge Country Club. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Muriel Johnson.

He is survived by his brother, Jeffrey Johnson and wife Meg, and their children, Noel and Christian.

According to his wishes, he will be cremated and there will be no formal services.
