Bruce Joseph Faciane, Jr., 63 years old, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away January 18, 2022. Bruce was born in Slidell, Louisiana to Bruce Faciane, Sr. and Betty Faciane on September 20, 1958. He attended Our Lady of Lordes Catholic School and graduated from Slidell High. He spent summers working as a roustabout for ODECO. His favorite site was in Alaska on the Ocean Ranger. He attended Louisiana State University for Construction Management. Due to the fall of the construction industry, he began his career at Audubon Ford where he was a Finance Manager for over 20 years. He then moved to Price LeBlanc Toyota for the remainder of his career. He enjoyed helping people. He was very active in his church and community. He was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church Men’s Club, Festival Committee and St. Matthew’s Guild. His family was his pride and joy especially his time with his granddaughter, Arlyn. She would make his eyes twinkle! Bruce is survived by his mother, Betty Faciane, his wife of 38 years, Pam Mauk Faciane, his children Bruce Joseph (Joey) Faciane III, Kaleigh Faciane Mitchell (Jordy), granddaughter Arlyn Anne Mitchell. His brother, Robert Faciane (Becky), sister Melanie Mazzola (Ricky), Brother-in-law Dirk Mauk (Dawn). Nieces and nephews, Anthony and Brittany Faciane, Richard, Brandon and Felicia Mazzola, Allysa Oliveto (Tyler), Cameron Mauk, Michael and Hunter Mauk, Madison Dauzat and Korie Teer. Great nephews, Kayden and Asher Oliveto, great niece Collins Mauk. He is proceeded in death by his father, Bruce Faciane, Sr., his mother and father-in-law Patricia (Pat) and G. A. (Pete) Mauk.
Pallbearers are: Dirk Mauk, Cameron Mauk, Michael Mauk, Hunter Mauk, David Pichon, and Jordy Mitchel.
The family is forever indebted to Alzheimer Services and Charlie’s Place for their continual guidance, love and support over their journey. The Pearl at Jamestown for their love and care. For our family and friends who have been with us over the years.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations be made to Alzheimer Services of Baton Rouge in honor of Bruce.
