Brian Larry Fox, age 49, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away on January 28, 2019. Brian was born on May 11, 1969, in Mobile, AL, to Larry Fox and the late Nancy McLeod. Brian grew up in Daphne, AL. After graduating from Fairhope High School in 1987, Brian earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Alabama. For the last 10 years, Brian worked for the Governor’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness in Baton Rouge. Brian attended Istrouma Baptist Church.
Brian is survived by his wife, Deborah, sons Logan and Connor; father Larry (Beverly) of Daphne, AL; brother Brent (Georgia) and niece Grace and nephew George of Auburn, AL; aunt Sandy Ward of Fairhope, AL; cousins Lee and Shellie Ward of Fairhope, AL; mother-in-law Sandy Braden of Baton Rouge, LA; and sister-in-law Jennifer (Jason) David of Baton Rouge, LA.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2019, at 1pm at Eastern Shore Baptist Church in Daphne, AL. Visitation will begin at noon. “Hughes Funeral Home and Crematory (www.hughesfh.com) will handle arrangements in Daphne.”
Memorial contributions can be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (www.nami.org) in Brian Fox’s name.
