Brendon Taylor Hogan, age 20, resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Friday, April 3, 2015.
Brendon was involved in sports starting at a very young age. He most enjoyed playing soccer in High School. He loved music, video games and spending time with his friends. He loved all animals and leaves behind his 4-legged best friend, Nyx. Brendon was very close to all of his family and reveled in family gatherings including crawfish boils, birthday celebrations and especially holidays. He loved life and lived it with a passion unique to him.Brendon will be so dearly missed and was loved by everyone he knew. He was an amazing young man with a smile that lit up his face and came from his heart. We will be forever grateful to Brendon for the love and joy he brought to our lives and he will live in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his parents, Brian and Melinda Paille Hogan and Sarah Vernise Kelly; brother, Ethan Hogan; sisters, Savannah Edmonston and Lilly Hogan; maternal grandmother, Shiela Kelly; paternal grandparents, Gordon and Phyllis Hogan; uncle, Michael Hogan; aunts, Judith Merritt, Claire Kelly-Brown, Jennifer Kelly; and many great aunts, uncles and cousins. Brendon is also survived by his loving girlfriend Haley Williams.
The family request that visiting hours be observed on Thursday, April 9, 2015 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway from 9:00 am until funeral service at 12 pm.
Pallbearers will be Austin Vavasseur, Sean Polozola, Steven Adamski, John Terry, Kenneth France and Marcelo Desousa.
Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
