A Jacobs Engineering employee and a resident of Greenwell Springs, he died Sunday, May 24, 2009, as the result of an automobile accident. He was 24 and a native of Baton Rouge. He was a graduate of Central High School and Southeastern Louisiana University. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, May 27, from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Mike Moroney. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his father, Joel Gottschalck; mother and stepfather, Kim and David Holeman; sister, Alix Ann Gottschalck; paternal grandmother, Mamie Ann Gottschalck; aunts and uncles, Royeann and Charlie Kinsley, Johnette and Kyle Drago, Patrice and Steve Couvillon, Roxanne and Doc Hearl, Keith and Mary Wilson, and Cliff Wilson; cousins, Brittany, Breann, Maddie, Meghan, Marisa, Mandy, Kelsey, Joshua, Justin, Steven, Jeffery and Jason. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, John Gottschalck; uncle, Tod Wilson; and maternal grandparents, Royce and Barbara Wilson. Brad will always be remembered for his love of hunting and fishing and especially his pet dogs, Duke and Millard. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.
