A member of Operating Engineers Local 406 and a resident of Gonzales, he passed away at 11:37 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012, at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Gonzales. He was 50 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., on Friday, Sept. 7, from 9:30 a.m. until service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by Pastor Nick Bergeron. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by his parents, Billy Ray Sr. and Ruth Corbin three sisters and two brothersinlaw, Linda and Larry Strickland, Billie and Terry Tripp, and Dorothy Baker a niece, Kelley Bourque three nephews, J.J. Baker, Derek Townsend, and Travis Baker stepnephew, Travis Tripp stepniece, Daniene Guichard and numerous greatnieces and nephews.
