Billie Dupree Brister

Billie Dupree Brister, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, surrounded by her family. Born on August 9th, 1934, in Diboll, Texas, Billie was a long-time resident of West Monroe, Louisiana before moving to Prairieville, Louisiana 18 years ago. Billie was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Billie will always be remembered for her joyful spirit, warm smile, infectious laugh, incredible sense of humor, and her care for others.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Tanner Beadle and husband Steve; Grandchildren, Ashley Clark (Adam), Kristy Anselmo Prechter (Dustin), Emily Anselmo, and Garrett Beadle; Great grandchildren, Landon Prechter, Liv Prechter, and Easton Broussard; Special niece and nephew, Kathy Kolb (Tony), and Kenny Warner (Bette).

She is preceded in death by her parents Ollie Dupree and Emma King Dupree; Son, David Lynn Tanner; Sisters, Glenda Smith, and Carolyn Butler; Brothers, Jimmy Dupree, Charles Dupree, and Buster Dupree; and special niece, Pam Warnock.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s hospital.

Visiting hours will be held at Resthaven on Tuesday, September 5th, 2023, from 1pm until services at 2:30pm, with interment to follow.

Pallbearers will be Steve Beadle, Garrett Beadle, Adam Clark, Landon Prechter, Tony Kolb, and Kenny Warner.
