Beverly Matkin

Beverly Matkin, age 83, a resident of Denham Springs, LA, passed away on December 30, 2020.

Beverly was a loving wife, mother, grand-mother, and great-grandmother.  Not only did she love her family, but she loved and nurtured countless children through her life as a day care owner.  She was devoted child of God and as young wife and mother was very active in the church.

Beverly is survived by only child Suzette DeLynn Matkin Rabalais (Scott Rabalais); sisters, Lois Jean Tarter, and Pat Stroud; grandchildren, Aja Rabalais Gonzales (Pat Gonzales), Coty Rabalais, and Brody Rabalais; great grandchildren, Jaymes and Virgil

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ezra Arrington and Ocie Mae Arrington and her loving husband of many years James Matkin.

A Graveside service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home in Beverly Matkin’s name.
