Beverly (Bev) Ann Ancona Horn, a life-long resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on December 9, 2024. Bev graduated from St. Joseph’s Academy and was a devout member of St. Isidore Church and St. Patrick Catholic Church throughout her life. Bev touched so many people in her life with her kindness, compassion and caring. She will be sorely missed.
Bev is survived by her four sons, Davy and his wife Kim, Chuck and his wife Liz, John and his wife Reagan, and her youngest son Michael. She is also survived by her devoted sister Tish Gerald and her husband Ronnie, and brother Charles Ancona and his wife Susan as well by her eleven grandchildren – Sarah, Ethan, Jacob, Averie, Wyatt, Macey, James, Grace, Teddy, Liam and Keeley – all who gave her constant joy and purpose.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Roland, her mother and father, Ada and Charley, her sisters, Joyce and Debbie, her niece Cheree, her nephew Matt and her beloved pet and sidekick who sustained her for so long, Scarlett.
Visitation will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, Baton Rouge, LA 70816, on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Port Hudson National Cemetery, 20978 Port Hickey Rd, Zachary, LA 70791, on Friday, December 20, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donating to the Alzheimer Association to help in the battle against this terrible disease that Bev fought so hard against.
