Born Feb. 7, 1924, she went to her heavenly home on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010. She was a native of Covington and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge. She retired from the East Baton Rouge Parish School Food Service with more than 30 years of service. She was a longtime member of Parkview Baptist Church and the family would like to express a special thanks to the Dorcas Sunday School class who visited her throughout the years. A friend to anyone she met, she was sweet, talented and funny, and best known for her wonderful cooking. Her favorite pastime was feeding as many people as possible, always with a smile. Loving wife, mother and grandmother, she is survived by a daughter, Judy Saucier and husband Arnold, of Baton Rouge daughterinlaw, Kay Sullivan, of Abbeville, S.C. son, Brett Sullivan, of Lake Charles eight grandchildren, Garrett Sullivan and wife Trisha, Amy Miller, Tiffany Sullivan, Shelly Laming, Scott Saucier and wife Chris, Todd Saucier and wife Leslie, Robert Saucier and wife Brandi, and Gina Saucier 15 greatgrandchildren, Seth, Shea, and Connor Sullivan, Kayla Odom, Josh Miller, Chandler Wright, Olivia Laming, Cody, Rene and Beau Saucier, Douglas and Ainsley Saucier, Jenna Saucier, Zachary Saucier and Ronson Scott sister, Kay Gonzalez and husband Miguel four brothers, Normand Galloway, Daryl Galloway and wife Ollie, the Rev. Robert Galloway and wife Essie, and Ray Galloway and wife Annette two sistersinlaw, Gloria and Bernice Galloway wonderful inlaws, Ann and Pat Dungan, Mary and Dick Taylor, Ivy and Pearl Sullivan, Bea and Sam Williams, and Lillian Sullivan many loving nieces and nephews and longtime friend and caregiver, Ann Glass. Preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Lela Galloway husband, James Sullivan son, Gary Sullivan sister, Doris Rogers and brothers, Eddie, J.C. and Pete Galloway. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Tuesday, Jan. 26, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Wednesday, Jan. 27, from noon until service at 2:30 p.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Haiti relief effort fund.
