For all things there is a season Our beloved mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother, aunt and friend has left this life to join her loved ones with our lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Often with her wisdom and beliefs she has said Thy will be done. With this she gives us peace and courage to face our lives without her. She was born April 19, 1928, in Centreville, Miss., to Annabelle Dier Hodges and John Thomas JT Hodges, and departed this life Saturday, Nov. 19, 2011, at 12:15 a.m. at the The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice in Baton Rouge. She is survived by her daughter, Billie Jean Womack daughter, Freddie Rae Womack, and soninlaw, Thomas Wayne Morse brother and sisterinlaw, James Kenneth Hodges and Hythen Hodges grandsons, Colin Bamber and wife Tonya Bamber, and Christopher Bamber granddaughters, Cynthia Craft and Melissa Craft, both of Baton Rouge, and Bridgette Womack Pierce and husband Will Pierce, of Frisco Texas greatgrandchildren, Danielle Bamber and John Johnny Bamber, Laura Forbes Tidwell, Devin Bonaventure, Zane Bamber and Belle Bamber, Brady Pierce, Avery Pierce and Addison Pierce and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annabelle and JT Hodges son, John H. Johnny Womack brothers, William H. Hodges, Arnold Blanche Hodges exhusband, Fred Womack and longtime special friend, Robert K. Bob Burdsall. Pallbearers will be Colin Bamber, John Bamber, Zane Bamber, Devin Bonaventure, Billy Braswell and Fred Tug Nichols. Honorary pallbearers are Buddy Fuentes, Arnold Hodges, Bobby Hodges and Danny Mayeaux. Visiting on Sunday, Nov. 20, at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting on Monday, Nov. 21, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m., conducted by Pastor Paul Pearson. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Old Jefferson Community Care Center and the staff of The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice.
