Betty Wray

Betty R. Wray passed away on August 8, 2018, in the company of her family at her home in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She was 86 years old. She was born December 4, 1931, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, to James Monroe and Jayne Sinclair Roshto. Betty was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge. She was predeceased in death by her husband of 62 years, W.P. Wray, Jr. She is survived by her son Russel Wray and his wife Rhona Wray; daughter Becky Ellis Anderson and her husband John Anderson; eight grandchildren, Worth Wray, Jacob Wray, Jenna Wray, James Wray, Jordan Ellis, Collin Ellis, Rebecca Ellis, Josh Ellis; and five step grandchildren, Cullen Anderson, Hallie Anderson, Lily Anderson, Natasha Kirschling and James Kirschling; sister Pat Wallace and her husband Henry Wallace; and brother Bobby Roshto. Her funeral service will be held at First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge at 11:30 AM on Saturday, August 11, 2018. Visitation begins at 10:00 AM.
