Betty David Truxillo, 79 years old, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 8:45 p.m. on October 4, 2023. She lived a life surrounded by people. Throughout her life, she used every opportunity to talk to others about her faith and how they may be transformed also, with a decision to believe in God. She began her career in a travel agency and retired as the Managing Director of Baton Rouge School of Computers. Visitation will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, October 9th from 1:00 p.m. until service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband Russell Truxillo Jr.; daughters Moira Wilkinson-Lee, Leslie Wilkinson and son, George H. Wilkinson Jr.; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Frank Delatte; sister-in-law, Elizabeth David; grandchildren and great grandchildren Hanna K. Weems and husband Craig and sons, Hayden Weems, Cullen Weems, Ace Weems, and daughter, Revie Weems; Brennon Pourciau and sons, Braxton Demopulos, Maddox Carbuccia and daughter, Lucia Eagle Heart; Tyler Pourciau and wife Laura and daughter, Madelyn Pourciau; Robert Taylor; Austin Saltzman; Brianna Saltzman; Michael Scot Nelson; Christian Wilkinson; Nicholas Wilkinson; Dustin Murphy; Cade McNabb and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Lucia David; daughters, Lisa Wilkinson LeJeune and Dianne Wilkinson McNabb; brother and sister-in-law Wallace and Joyce David and brother Leroy David.
