Betty Denham

A native of Baton Rouge, she died peacefully at her home with her loving family around her on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2008. She was 80. Survived by her gentle and loving husband of 61 years, Wesley A. Denham; three daughters, Cynthia Cindi and husband Bill Efferson, Baton Rouge, Vickie and husband Bill Corcoran, of New Jersey, and Susanne Susie Denham, of Baton Rouge; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents, Carson Whitehead Posey and Joseph E. Posey. Pallbearers will be Sam Callaway, Bill Corcoran, Randy Brister, John Guilbeau, Alan Johnson and Tim Ricks. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Wednesday, Nov. 26, from 9 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
