On June 8, 2023, Betty M. Klein Ault, age 83, joined her husband in Jesus’ kingdom. Originally from Newark, Ohio, she and her family moved to Greenwell Springs, Louisiana 45 years ago. She worked in the EBR School System and had an associate degree from the University of Cincinnati.
Betty was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and of the Baton Rouge Choral Group. She enjoyed singing in church choir, playing Pokeno, crocheting, collecting antiques, dolls, and family heirlooms. She took many family photographs and made each of her children photo albums to cherish forever. She loved her family very much and was proud to raise nine children with her deceased husband, Frank P. Ault.
She is survived by her sister, Jo Ellen Klein Scott and husband Gary Scott; sister-in-law Mary Klein; her nine children – Betti Kay Perrone and husband Ed Perrone; Jeff Roseberry and wife Dale Roseberry; Randy Ault; Susan Ault and partner Bill Brothers; Joan Olson and husband Gary Olson; Evelyn Ault; William B. Ault; Beth Ellen (Ault) Harris; and Josephine Templeton and husband Mike Templeton, Sr. She is also survived by a choir of grandchildren that includes great and great greats.
Betty is preceded in death by her first husband, Bill Roseberry; her second husband, Frank P. Ault; her parents John H. Klein and Josephine L. Klein of Lancaster, Ohio; brothers Lawrence Hebert Klein; Leonard Newton (Ghee) Klein and John Howard Klein; and foster sister Joyce L. Wares Stanley.
Services will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home located at 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, La 70816 on Friday, June 23, 2023 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am with a reception to follow at the funeral home.
