Beryl Talbot, 64, passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 after a long fight against Multiple Sclerosis. She was born in Baton Rouge and moved throughout her youth living in Hawaii, California and England. She returned to Baton Rouge to attend LSU earning a degree in business. Her professional career was spent in a variety of business roles working at LSU and Graves Engineering. She especially enjoyed her time as a Pension Administrator with Employee Plan Compliance Company. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling with husband Dick, particularly weekend trips to New Orleans, reading, watching TV and movies, and listening to music. She participated in a longrunning bridge group over the years. She was preceded in death by her father J. Malcolm Griffith, Jr. and husband of 42 years Dick P. Talbot. Surviving her is her mother, Shirley Griffith son Seth and wife Becky and granddaughters Adele and Samantha and numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks for the care she received from sitters Jackie Arthur, English Marie Murray and Donna Pearson and all those who visited her regularly. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 from 10 am until funeral services at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Pallbearers will be relatives and friends of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National MS Society, Louisiana, 4613 Fairfield St. Metairie, LA 70006.
