Beatriz Tangarife

Beatriz Tangarife passed away peacefully at home in Baton Rouge, LA on Monday, January 18, 2021, at the age of 84.  Beatriz was born in Bogota, Colombia, where she also met the love of her life, her late husband Dolcey Tangarife.  Beatriz was a strong, beautiful, loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.  She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

Beatriz is survived by two sons, Henry Tangarife and Alberto Tangarife; six daughters, Gloria Tangarife, Zoraida Berrio, Gladys Gonzalez, Martha Guerrero, Janeth Cook and Jessica Rainey; four brothers, Alvaro Villa, Luis Enrique Guerrero, Gustavo Guerrero and Humberto Guerrero; 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Visitation will take place at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Saturday, January 23 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. George Catholic Church, 7808 St. George Drive, by Father Kevin Zubel at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 23.  Entombment in the church mausoleum will follow.
