Beatrice Todd DAquin, affectionately known as Bea Lou, passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014 at the age of 86. A native and longtime resident of Baton Rouge, LA, she was born February 18, 1928. She is a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and Our Lady of the Lake School of Nursing. A homemaker and retired R.N., she enjoyed family, cooking, sewing, and gardening. She was a member of the Womens Home Demonstration Club and the Gaytimers Card Club. Visitation at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 11441 Goodwood Blvd., Baton Rouge on Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 10 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 noon officiated by Monsignor Gerald Lefebvre. Interment to follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11817 Jefferson Hwy., Baton Rouge. She is survived by daughters and sonsinlaw, Susan and Robert Dupont, Lisa and Mark Sanders, Sally DAquin, Lauren and Rob Field, and Molly and Mike Kimble sons and daughtersinlaw, Todd and Natalie DAquin, and Dane and Bipsy DAquin grandchildren, Robert Dupont, Jeffrey Dupont and wife Larie, Allison Wisdom and husband T.J., Aubrey Ueltschey and husband Lee, Garrett DAquin, Joel Sanders and fianc Leslie Currier, Thomas Sanders and wife Casey, Kelly Morgan and husband Jake, Courtney and Connor Sanders, Dana Todd and husband Michael, Adam DAquin and wife Morgan, Emily DAquin and fianc Matthew Martinec and Laura DAquin, Davis, Kate, Daniel, and Addie Field, Maggie, Ann Malloy, and Max Kimble and greatgrandchildren, Peyton and Ainsley Ueltschey, Mia and Walker Wisdom, Ella, Gracie, and Luke Todd, and Collyn Dupont brothers, James B. Todd, Jr., Russell C. Todd, Alfred G. Todd, and John E. Todd. Bea was preceded in death by her husband, Fernand Thomas DAquin, Jr. parents, Beatrice Cooper Todd and James Berwick Todd, Sr. and sister, Adele Todd Mayeux. Pallbearers will be her grandsons. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers. The family would like to give special thanks to Sunrise Assisted Living, Nursing Care Connection, St. Joseph Hospice, and the many caregivers and friends who took special care of Bea Lou.
