William Baron Stevenson passed away at the age of 18 years old on Tuesday, November 1st, 2022. He is survived by his parents, Frederick and Julie, as well as his brothers, Michael and Wesley, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and his grandparents, Lynn Clayton of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Michael and Laurel Collver, of Aiken, South Carolina. He attended Runnels school through the 9th grade, and the Episcopal School of Baton Rouge through his senior year. He was planning to attend the University of Arkansas next fall and study business. Baron was joyful, thoughtful, and kind. He touched many lives through his compassion, tenderness, and humor. He was mature beyond his years and had an insatiable appetite for knowledge and learning. In his leisure time, Baron could be found listening to various podcasts and laughing at comedians. He loved to spend time in the outdoors, whether it was skiing, hiking, hunting, or adventuring down the Amite River in his canoe. His athletic interests included basketball, weightlifting, and swimming. He loved to be around his friends, and enjoyed laughing, dancing, and listening to his eclectic library of music. He worked as a lifeguard/valet/busser at the Country Club of Louisiana during the summers and was promoted to head guard due to his professionalism and leadership skills. He grew up in Grace Life Fellowship, and later became involved in the youth group at First Presbyterian Church of Baton Rouge. Baron loved his Lord and savior Jesus. He is now enjoying his rest with Him. Baron will be dearly missed by his family and so many others, but we look forward to reuniting with him in Heaven.
