Barbara Merkle

Barbara D Merkle, age 64, a resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, passed away on July 5th 2017.

Barbara was a long time employee of Woman's Hospital and was very dedicated to her work in the Cancer Detection Laboratory. She was also a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Barbara was known for her hard work ethic, dedication to excellence, as well as her passion for traveling and collecting antiques from all over the United States.

Barbara is survived by her two sons, Brent and Alan Merkle, her siblings Donna LaLond, Deborah Washer, and David Duquenne, as well as her mother Lois Duquenne.

She is preceded in death by her father Daniel Duquenne.

There will be an informal memorial held at 12130 Astolat Ave, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70816, July 15th at 11:00 am. All friends and family are welcome to attend.
