Barbara Manuel

A resident of Baton Rouge, she was called to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 24, 2011. Visiting will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday, February 27th from 4pm until 9pm with a Rosary at 5:30pm on Sunday. Visiting will resume at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane, on Monday, February 28th at 10am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am, conducted by Rev. Jerry Martin. Internment will be in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by daughter, Monique and husband, Rodney sons, Chuck Manuel and wife Wendy of North Carolina Heath Manuel and wife Nina grandchildren, Ashlie Manuel Lauren Byrd and husband Trent Kacie Manuel Maci Manuel Connor Manuel Hannah Remore and Logan Remore brother, Iray Ledoux and wife, Lorena and her extended Demco family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Yves and Etta Ledoux and sister, Beulah Landreneau. She loved life and lived it to the fullest. Her legacy will live through children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and travel. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
