A city-parish employee for 25 years and a resident of Denham Springs, she died at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, 2007, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 70 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Sunday, Oct. 14, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Visiting continues at the funeral home chapel on Monday, Oct. 15, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 2 p.m. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by two daughters, Dolly Gustefferson and partner Llyn Thompson, and Brenda Chapman and David; a son, James Crisler; a brother, Raymond C. Vay and wife Pat; and four grandchildren, Scottie Gustefferson, James M. Crisler, Courtney Lynn Chapman and Alysha M. Crisler. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Crisler. Honorary pallbearer is Willie Wells. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and the Council on Aging.
