Bailen Walsh

Bailen J. Walsh, age 20, a resident and native of Baton Rouge, LA passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.

Bailen loved ROTC and looked forward to being in the Army. He was enrolled in ITI Technical College and was an altar server at St. Jean Vianney for the past 10 years.

He is survived by his mother, Cynthia M. Walsh; his maternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Walsh of Baton Rouge, LA; his grandmother, Ann S. Walsh; his paternal grandfather, Herman Leger of Brusly, LA; his great-grandmother, Winona George; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and siblings.

Bailen is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Connie Leger; his great-grandmother, Anna Ward Knapik; and his great aunt, Linda Avery.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Visitation will resume on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, 16166 S Harrells Ferry Rd, Baton Rouge, LA from 12:00pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
