Audrey Turner

Audrey Lacombe Turner, a native of Bunkie, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2015, at the age of 74.

She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Greta and Gordon Rivers of Baton Rouge; granddaughters, Brittney Chustz and her husband Cory of Baton Rouge, and Lesley Rivers and her fiancé Kenneth Cranow Jr. of Prairieville; great-granddaughter, Caroline Chustz; sister, Erline Moras and her husband Gerald of Marksville; and brother, Daniel Lacombe and his wife Ruth of Hessmer.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Clyde Joseph Turner; her parents, Mr. Sylvan Lacombe Sr. and Lillian Bernard; her son, Carey Paul Turner; a sister, Ina Veillion; and brothers, Ervin Lacombe and Sylvan Lacombe Jr.

The family request that visiting hours be observed on Friday, March 20, 2015 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 12424 Brogdon Lane from 8:00am until funeral services.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 20, 2015 at a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial at St. Patrick Catholic Church, officiant will be Rev. Matthew Dupre, pastor at St. Patrick Catholic Church.

Interment will take place at Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

She was loved dearly by everyone she met. The family would like to thank her caregivers, the staff at Amber Terrace, and the nurses at The Crossing in Baton Rouge.
