Audrey Whitaker Sirman, age 86, a resident of Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 22, 2017 after battling Alzheimer's.
She was born in Luling, TX, and she lived in Beaumont, TX, and Baton Rouge, LA, with her husband Jack A. Sirman. Widowed in 2011, she was a current resident of Garden View in Baton Rouge, LA. She was a devoted wife, mother, and member of the United Methodist Church, working with the United Methodist Woman's group for many years.
Audrey is survived by her three children, Debe Tippit and husband Sammy, Mike Sirman and wife Karen, and Patricia Davis and husband Harvey; her seven grandchildren, Dave Tippit and wife Kelly, Renee Barker and husband Paulo, Kyle Sirman and wife Jenny, Krystal King and husband Howard, Rachel Sirman, Anne East and husband Johnathan, and Audrey Scarbrough and husband Keith; and eight great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jack A. Sirman.
Visitation will be at Broadmoor United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 9:00 am until funeral services at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
If families prefer to make donations in lieu of flowers, preferred benefactors include Alzheimer's Services of the Capital Area and Broadmoor United Church Children's Fund.
