Audrey Roussel

A resident of Walker, she died at 5:58 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2012, at her home. She was 81, born April 14, 1930, in Baton Rouge. Visiting at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Feb. 9, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 10, from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Frank Uter. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband of 61 years, Adrien Roussel daughters, Carlene Stafford, Debbie Singleton and husband John, Bobbie Reeves and husband Jeff, Lillian Robison and husband Roy, and Libby Tigner and husband Jay son, Ronnie Roussel sister, Nettie Fabian Richardson 12 grandchildren and 16 greatgrandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Lillian LeBlanc sisters, Evelyn Benoit and Gladys Mae Doughty and brother, Elvin LeBlanc. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Joseph Hospice, whose workers treated her with loving kindness, 10615 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
