Audrey Manuel

Have I not commanded you Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9. Audrey M. Manuel was called home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at 8:45 am Sunday, October 7, 2012 of Acute Leukemia. She was 80 years old and a resident of Prairieville, La. She worked from 1972 to 1999 for Capital Utilities Corp. She was our angel here on earth and lived her life for her kids and grandkids. She is survived by her children, Barry L. Zito, Carla Hudson Kling and husband Heavy Kling, Artie C. Hudson, and daughterinlaw, Emma ZitoCrouse her best friend and sister, Betty Richey and brotherinlaw, Harold a nephew, Randy Richey and wife Annette seven grandchildren, Ty Zito and wife Leslie, Rickey Zito, Jr., Kelly Tourere, Dustin Zito, Nikki Estilette, Chad Estilette and wife Jessica, and Kristin Hudson great granddaughter, Emma C. Adkinson and great grandson, Easton H. Estilette. She was preceded in death by her son, Rickey Zito, Sr. mother, Mamie A. Danese father, James Buster Millet and stepmother, Alice Millet. Audrey was a member of Lake Martin Baptist Church. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 5 pm until 9 pm and will resume on Thursday, October 11, from 11 am until funeral services at 12 noon. Burial will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The family would like to thank Angela and the gang at the Baton Rouge General Infusion Center. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.
