Arveline Peatross

Arveline Collins Peatross was born on August 19, 1934 in Jamboree, KY, and passed away at the age of 84 on January 8, 2019 in Baton Rouge.

She married the love of her life, Earl Peatross, in August of 1953. They were happily married for 63 years until his passing in 2016.

She always wanted a large family and counted it as one of her greatest achievements in life being blessed with 8 children. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, and G.G. who was and always will be loved and treasured by her family.

She is survived by her children David, Carol (Leon), Gail, Paul (Lisa), Cathy (Michael), Anita, and James; her grandchildren Ryan (Dannin), Kristen (Jeremy), Joseph (Katelyn), Joshua, Treye, and Paris; and great-grandchildren Alex, Nevaeh, Anna Belle, Earl, and Elijah.

She was predeceased by her husband Earl Peatross Sr., eldest son Earl Jr, and grandson Leon "Trey."

She will be laid to rest on January 14, 2019 at Resthaven Garden Visitation of Memory 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA 70816. Visitation will be from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. followed immediately by graveside services.
