Anthony “Tony” Earl Parker, age 68, of Baton Rouge, passed away on May 8, 2022. He was a devoted husband to the love of his life, Goober. He was the ideal father and fun-loving grandfather better known as AnDad. He enjoyed taking pictures of all the beauty around him, believed that anything could be fixed with wire and duct tape, and always ready to help others. He was a lifelong LSU fan. Tony was a retired Project Manager with Furgo Marine in Lafayette for 35 + years.
Visitation will be at CrossPoint Baptist Church in Baton Rouge on Friday, May 13, 2022, noon until service at 2:00pm. Burial will be held at Pensacola Memorial Gardens in Pensacola, Florida on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Glenda Parker; children, Justin (Stephanie) Parker and Shelly (Kelly) Parker; grandchildren, Lily, Ella, Gage, and Gear; mother, Gloria Parker; brother, Jimmy (Janora) Parker, and sister Cindy (Jeff) Knighten; and several nieces. He was preceded in death by his son, Cory Kevin Parker, and father Al Parker.
