Annie Embry

Annie Dell Embry, age 93, born and raised in Frierson, LA, passed away on February 27, 2018.

Annie graduated from Stonewall High School and graduated from Louisiana College. She was an Educator in the East Baton Rouge School System. Annie was a devoted member of Istrouma Baptist Church where she taught primary children in Sunday school. She was also the director of the kindergarten.

She is survived by her son, David Embry and wife Linda; and the extended Wilson family who loved her as their own.

Annie is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Embry; and son, Michael Embry.

Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA on Saturday, March 3, 2018 from 9:00am until funeral services at 11:00am. Burial will immediately follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to Istrouma Baptist Church.
