Anne Westall

A retired registered nurse with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and a resident of Baton Rouge, she died Friday, Jan. 22, 2010, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 78 and a native of Murfreesboro, Tenn. She was a graduate of Our Lady of the Lake Nursing School and later earned her bachelors degree in nursing from the University of St. Francis in Joliette, Ill. Visiting at Jefferson United Methodist Church, 10328 Jefferson Highway, on Monday, Jan. 25, from 12:30 p.m. until religious service at 2:30 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Hulen Warren. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Albert T. Westall Sr. two daughters and a soninlaw, Barbara Marie Westall, and Debra Westall and Francisco Garcia two sons and a daughterinlaw, A. Thomas Jr. and Karen Katz Westall, and Joe Westall a brother and sisterinlaw, Thomas Rhodes Pixton and Marie six grandchildren, Tracy Ducote, Tammy Ducote, Tiffany Ducote Dunn, Adam Westall, Rebecca Westall and Francis GarciaWestall and three greatgrandchildren, Taylor, Paige and Micah. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Greer and Delores Pixton a daughter, Catherine Anne Westall and three brothers, William Greer Pixton Jr., James Lee Pixton and John Baxton Pixton. She was a charter member of Jefferson United Methodist Church and active in the SALT group and was also a member of the Our Lady of the Lake Retired Nurses Association. She did volunteer nursing at St. Clare Manor. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to Jefferson United Methodist Church, 10328 Jefferson Highway, Baton Rouge, LA 70809.
