A resident of Duck River, Tenn., Anna Marie Sheets Lane Hanley, 71, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009, at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tenn., following an extended illness. Ms. Hanley was of the Catholic faith. She was a homemaker who in her earlier years was a hairdresser. She was preceded in death by her son, Darren Lane; and brother, Robert Sheets. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Hanley, of College Grove, Tenn.; son David Hanley and wife Donna, of College Grove; daughter Kathie Borgan and husband Jeff, of Houston; sisters Lynois Lebeau, of St. Amant, and Donna Fairchild and Judy Braud, both of Gonzales; brothers Jerrald Sheets, of Satsuma, and Randy Sheets, of Gonzales; and four grandchildren, Travis Covington, DJ Lane, Angie Lillard and Jenna Fricke. Services for Mrs. Hanley will be at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, on Thursday, Feb. 12, at 11 a.m. Visitation with the family is at the funeral home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 a.m. until service time. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Cemetery beside her son Darren.
