Anna Blanchard

Anna Theresa Blanchard, 92 years old, passed away on June 12, 2021. She was born September 3, 1928, in Carville Louisiana.  She was a retired School Crossing Guard.

Anna is survived by her daughter, Sandra Waguespack, and husband Clyde; son, Ray Blanchard and wife, Donna; son, Don Blanchard and wife, Donna; 6 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Her loving husband, Walter P. Blanchard and 10 siblings precede her in death.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 2021, at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 14040 Greenwell Springs Road, Greenwell Springs Louisiana 70739, from 11:00am until 12:00pm followed by a Mass at 12 pm. A graveside service will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or The American Cancer Society in Anna’s name.
