Ann Wingate

Ann passed away on July 17, 2016 at the age of 62 in Gulfport, Mississippi after a 15 year battle with Ovarian Cancer and is now in her heavenly home with Jesus.

She was survived by her son, Joshua Shealy, her special friend and companion, Kathy Hensley, her parents James and Margaret Wingate, and brothers Jim and Jeff Wingate.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Scott Wingate, and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Ann was a native of Baton Rouge and longtime member of Parkview Baptist Church.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 19, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Resthaven Gardens of Memory and Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Hwy, Baton Rouge, LA Visitation will continue Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 12:30 pm until Service at 2:00 pm, Burial to Follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
